Pokémon Horizons: The Series to launch in the U.S. and Australia from February 2024, and in Canada from March 2024

Finally bringing an end to fan speculation about when the series will receive a wider global release, The Pokémon Company International have announced that Pokémon Horizons: The Series will make its debut in the United States on February 23rd, 2024, a few days ahead of Pokémon Day, exclusively on Netflix.

Taito Okiura - vice president of marketing for The Pokémon Company International. said:
“In celebration of Pokémon Day 2024, fans will be able to embark on an all-new Pokémon animated adventure when ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ premieres in more markets early next year. With ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ being the first new animated series released in more than 25 years, both longtime Trainers and a new generation of fans can look forward to exploring the Pokémon world in a fresh and unique way.”

Fans in Australia and Canada won't have to wait too much longer after the US for their own debuts, with the series launching Downunder on 9Go! on February 27th, and in Canada on both Cartoon Network and Télétoon from March 2nd.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series features dual protagonists Liko and Roy, who join together with a group of adventurers known as the Rising Volt Tacklers and set out to travel the Pokémon world with them, visiting all the regions introduced in the core series from Kanto to Paldea. Liko also finds herself targeted by the mysterious Explorers organization, which is after her equally mysterious pendant. For the first time in Pokémon anime history, Pokémon Horizons: The Series features an all-new cast of characters and a more linear plot without many ties to previous anime series.
